For the creation of the bamboo, I used alpha mapping to make the leaves by using a photo-scan of the leaves. Using Autodesk Maya, I used curve tools on cylinders to create natural growth of the tubules. I then used Substance Painter to then texture the bamboo.

This piece was inspired by my zodiac sign of libra. My goal when creating this piece was to challenge myself with drawing and shading cloth on the clothing and blindfold. Using dynamic posing and a smaller canvas allowed for a more interesting flow of the cloth and hair.
Physical Media
This piece is a painting of my cat Leonardo DiCatPurrio. The medium used for this painting is acrylic. The challenge for myself for this project was to play with tones of gray and layer them to make accurate fur to a cat. I then added some contrast by having his eye as the green/yellow color.
